Humans have sought to control water for thousands of years.
To enrich their lives, humans irrigated their lands, made reservoirs, farmed the lands, grew produce, and dug channels to ship and trade them. Then, they constructed dams and created a technology that converts water energy into electricity. This led to industrial development, propelling humans toward prosperity.
We should accept the fact that the water crisis has jeopardized the existence of humans. From now on, we must abandon our self-centered attitudes toward the use of water, on which we have relied for so long, to save not only this precious resource but also our lives.
To thrive once again with water, our only option is to immediately restore our relationship with it, which has deteriorated due to our self-centered goals. And this requires an accurate understanding of the characteristics of water.
