Greetings from the President

Welcome to Takuwa's website.
The world is undergoing structural change in all elements surrounding us, including politics, economy, society, culture, and climate, and old systems are stalling and poorly functioning.
As a result, social problems related to war, terrorism, infectious diseases, poverty, education, resources, and technology are occurring on a global scale. I think it is fair to say that all of such problems stem from our own selfish way of thinking. A “selfish way of thinking” is the idea that “as long as I'm happy, I don't care about others.”
It did not begin in modern times. Looking back at history, it seems to me that almost all societies established up until now have been formed and built by selfish people who only care about themselves. So now, “selfish ways of thinking” are widespread in the world. As a result of selfish ways of thinking spreading and gradually seeping in, the world is becoming filled up with selfish ways and approaching its limit level.

About Takuwa

Takuwa is a manufacturer that has been specializing in the production of water level gauges used to measure the water level of rivers and other sensors that are useful for disaster prevention for over half a century in Japan, a country that is frequently hit by natural disasters. Takuwa will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025.
The Company has installed various types of its water level gauges and sensors in rivers and landslide sites across the country through participation in national flood control and disaster prevention projects. With the knowledge and technology it has gained over the past 60 years and the skills it has honed, Takuwa has realized several disaster prevention and mitigation systems in Japan, a country where natural disasters occur frequently, making achievements in national disaster prevention on the front lines.
So now, Takuwa holds a market share of over 60% for water level gauges installed in domestic rivers. With its such results, Takuwa has decided to make a full-scale entry into the global market, just before its 60th anniversary.
What Takuwa aims for in the new market. That is “a world where people and water live together.” So why did Takuwa decide to set such a goal?
Since the dawn of humanity, human beings have sought water and continued to evolve while living in harmony with it. It is fair to say that human life has always been with water since ancient times. Throughout the course of human history, humans have always strived to understand water, to find the right way to interact with it, and to build a good relationship with it.
However, as humans became accustomed to the water that was always around them, their attitude towards water changed from “Get along well with water” to “Control water”. Struggles to secure limited water resources have caused conflicts around the world, destroying the global environment, and finally humanity has come to threaten its own survival with its own hands.
For humans to continue living on this beautiful Earth, they must restore their coexistence with water, just as ancient humans did.
More than half of the human body is made up of water. In that sense, coexistence with water is essential within the human body.
So what is happening outside the human body? The cycle of taking water into our lives, using it, and then returning it to the environment is breaking down on a global scale. Takuwa wants to solve the critical problem of “water being driven out of the living environment and becoming scarce around the world”.
This is because most of the human body is made up of water, so I feel a deep sympathy for the “water planet” Earth, where 70% of the surface is covered in water. And I want to save our precious Earth, and continue to live on it with water.
If Takuwa could mobilize all its resources - the technologies it currently possesses, the numerous skills it has cultivated over the years, and unique ideas that only Takuwa can come up with from its well-honed imagination - and confront the challenges with all its might, there would surely be room for Takuwa to solve the social problems.
Takuwa can implement the symbiotic system that allows water to circulate smoothly within the body in external environments. With confidence and courage, Takuwa is ready to get re-started.
Takuwa is a manufacturer able to create a world where people and water can live together.
